Your puppy will be dewormed and given it's first needle, at it's seven or eight week examination. Therefor will only require  two more vaccines if following the same schedule of vaccine given by my vet.

All my own dogs are given Revolution or advantage from April to September.  Revolution is a heartworm and flea protection all in one. You may choose to treat your puppy with revolution, senital, advantage or any other recommnded products.

My adult dogs have been on a couple different dry dog foods  over the years. Not all dogs like the same brands, so it may take a few tries to find the right one for your needs.

My adult dogs are now eating Orijen and Royal Canin depending on the breed . Puppies are eating a balanced diet of Royal Canin.

There are many different brand names of dry dog food you can feed your puppy. What is right for one dog may not be right for another. If your unsure about what to feed your puppy, ask the advice of your trusted Veterinarian.

Once the puppy is weaned from it's mother at four to six weeks, it is important to feed the puppy properly. The body is growing and the development of the internal structure is extremely rapid. Therefor, your puppy requires about twice the nutrients per pound of body weight as a mature adult dog. High-quality commercial puppy foods are formulated to meet these needs. Your puppy should eat 5-10% of it's body weight per day. Divide this amount into three feedings per day. Any changes you make in your puppy's diet, or in the scheduled feeding times, should be made slowly so as not to disturb its delicate digestive system. Always serve your puppy's food at room temperature, and always keep a supply of fresh clean water in your puppy's dish. Your puppy's water should be cool but not too cold. Thoroughly wash the food and water dishes every day. This will prevent the growth of harmful bacteria.

I will provide you with the dry puppy food that your puppy has been eating, since being weaned from it's mother. You should mix this with the puppy food you have chosen for your puppy, after a period of adjustment to it's new home. Puppies from current litters are eating Puppy chow.

Feel free to contact my veterinarian for information on my puppies, my adult dogs, and myself as a breeder.
